Duke Han, PhD, is a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN), Director of the Neuropsychology Division in the Department of Family Medicine, and a tenured Full Professor of Family Medicine, Neurology, Psychology, and Gerontology in the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Han is interested in elucidating the factors that impact cognition and decision making in aging, particularly in the context of elder abuse and financial exploitation.

Lauren Brinkley-Rubinstein, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences. She is a national expert in examining how the criminal legal system impacts people, families, and communities. During the pandemic, she co-founded the COVID Prison Project, one of the only national data projects that tracks and analyzes COVID testing, cases, and deaths in prison systems across the country. She utilized the infrastructure of the COVID Prison Project to launch the Third City Project—a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded big data project that tracks and aggregates publicly available health and health policy data from carceral systems. Additionally, Dr. Brinkley-Rubinstein is the PI of several NIH and foundation grants focused on substance use, HIV prevention, and mortality.

Rodlescia Sneed, PhD

Dr. Sneed is a social gerontologist interested in how the social environment impacts adult developing and aging in diverse populations. She has expertise in biopsychosocial models of health, community-engaged research, and chronic disease. Dr. Sneed’s work engages community and institutional stakeholders to identify and improve upon factors that contribute to inequities in health and well-being among mid and late-life adults.

Jane Dorotik

Jane Dorotik, RN

Jane Dorotik is an RN and healthcare professional who worked for many years in the Community Mental Health Administration. She had been incarcerated for 20 years on a wrongful conviction, and thanks to the amazing work by attorneys who are now the Los Angeles Innocence Project, her conviction was overturned in May 2022. Ms. Dorotik is a Coordinating Leader of the California Coalition for Women Prisoners (CCWP), a Policy Advisor for the Los Angeles Innocence Project, a founding member of the UC Sentencing Project, a current member of the Board of Directors of Californians United for a Responsible Budget (CURB), and a member of the DA Accountability Coalition. Ms. Dorotik advocates for prison abolition as well as dignity and compassion for all incarcerated individuals.
